Parish Fundraising and Donations

Please consider supporting our work to spread the Gospel in our area.

There are plenty of options below to choose from to help us in our mission

Basket donations are very welcome at our church locations and we hope to have operational card machines very soon.

  • Regular gifts can be given using weekly envelopes or by standing order.

    Banks details: See bulletin

Please consider creating a standing order because having a consistent, regular income is an enormous help in budgeting for parish expenditure.

If you are a taxpayer and haven't done so already, please complete a gift aid form, it doesn't cost you anything but the church can reclaim the tax you have paid on your donation.

Last year this raised an additional income of several thousand pounds, money which would have otherwise gone to the taxman.

  • If you buy goods on the internet and you use the EasyFundraising website, then the Parish will earn commission on your purchase.

  • A Standing Order/Gift Aid form can be downloaded by clicking here.

The parish bank details for standing orders can be found on the Weekly Bulletin.

  • A variety of fundraising events are organised throughout the year at both churches.

These include fundraising for specific projects such as the Lourdes fund as well as market stalls in Penistone, sale of cakes and refreshments, social events and the annual St Mary's Christmas Fair.

If you have an idea for fundraising, let us know. We would love to hear it!

  • Each year parishioners and carers from St Ann’s and St Mary’s take part in the annual pilgrimage to Lourdes.

Various fundraising activities are organised to raise money, to enable the sick of the parish to participate.

These include a sponsored walk each year on Palm Sunday and a golf competition in July.

  • Keep a mission box at home to collect loose change. Just leave your box at the back of church and it will be collected and emptied. Thanks for your support!

  • For a selection of cards, baptismal, holy communion and confirmation gifts etc.

At St Ann’s the stall is open before and after Sunday Mass.

  • Tea and Coffee is served after Sunday Masses, in the parish hall at St Ann’s (from 1st Sunday of Advent) and in the church at St Mary’s.

Proceeds from the sale of refreshments are used for a variety of good causes

  • Great! Please share any ideas you may have via the Whatsapp groups or email via the contact form.
